In December, 2013, Dr. Steele, Dr. Willis, and Linda team up again to embark on another World Vets spay/neuter project. This time, we're headed off to San Andres Island, Colombia to help with critter overpopulation and disease control on the island. Follow along on our adventures!

The dogs here...

The nice thing about having lots of cameras on the trip is that we can share photos for the blog. This post shows just a few of the typical-looking dogs of the island. Most of them seem friendly, but they nap in the strangest places - some of them even lie down out in the road. One of our hotel workers told me that she feels bad for the dogs because they don't always get food, and they keep having puppies, and have a hard time feeding their puppies (at least, I think that's what she said - my Spanish isn't very good). She was happy when I told her that's why World Vets were here - to make "no perritos" so the dogs will have an easier life.
